Our first showcase in the City of Light brought ancient Chinese colors to the world's most prestigious fashion stage.
Paris, France - March 15, 2024 - JIANGSÈ made history last night with its debut showcase at Paris Fashion Week, bringing the ancient color philosophy of traditional China to the world's most prestigious fashion stage.
The collection, titled "Five Colors of the East," featured 32 looks inspired by the traditional Chinese color system, including the passionate crimson (绛红), the serene songhua (松花), and the mysterious daiqing (黛青).
"We wanted to show that these colors, which have been part of Chinese culture for over 5,000 years, are not just historical artifacts but living, breathing elements that can speak to modern women," said the brand's creative director.
The show opened with a stunning crimson silk gown that cascaded down the runway like liquid fire, followed by a series of looks that showcased the brand's signature blend of traditional aesthetics and contemporary silhouettes.
Notable attendees included fashion editors from Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle, as well as celebrities and influencers from around the world. The collection received a standing ovation and has already generated significant buzz in the fashion community.
JIANGSÈ will be available at select retailers in Paris, London, and New York starting next month, with an exclusive capsule collection available only through the brand's flagship stores.
